MIT Museum & Physics Workshop: students will explore robotics, AI, engineering prototypes, and interactive exhibits on programming, automation, and mechanical systems. They will take part in a hands-on physics and space workshop at the Museum.

Museum of Science Boston: explore more than 700 interactive exhibits focused on nature, chemistry, engineering, and physics. Students will have the chance to engage in hands-on activities that encourage critical thinking, systems thinking, and problem-solving.
New England Aquarium: Meet green sea turtles, California sea lions, and more! Visit the New England Aquarium to explore marine ecosystems, biodiversity, and conservation efforts while discovering how science and technology help protect our oceans.

Depending on travel dates, flight schedules, and group preferences, the itinerary can be enhanced with a range of iconic and educational experiences across the United States. From New York landmarks such as the Statue of Liberty, Times Square, Broadway, and world-famous observation decks, to Boston’s historic Freedom Trail, and the vibrant waterfront, each destination offers powerful learning opportunities. Students may also experience an NBA or NHL game, explore the American Museum of Natural History, or enjoy cultural discoveries in Chinatown, Quincy Market, and Fifth Avenue shopping. Interactive workshops in theatre, film and media production, including a dynamic stage combat and sword fighting workshop, as well as innovation and entrepreneurship sessions, can further bring learning to life beyond the classroom.

Pricing is based on 30 students with 3 free teacher places, staying in hostel accommodation and using public transport, following the example 5-7 day itinerary. International flights are extra. Please contact us for an individual quote for the number of teachers and students you wish to attend.
With Travel Trust Association membership (member X0993), any money paid for a school trip goes into a trust account that can only be released after you return from your school trip or to other companies offering equal financial protection. This ensures all money paid is 100% protected until after you return.
All our educational visits have full risk assessments available. We are of course happy to provide additional risk assessments as needed by your school. Additionally, all our trip leaders have police clearance certificates for working with young people, and Think Outside The Classroom Ltd has full public liabilty and professional indemnity insurance cover.

You will have a personal guide to lead your group whilst on your school trip to the US, and a 24 hour emergency contact number. We make sure teachers supporting your trip are comfortable with local SIM cards or other means of staying connected provided, plus extra refreshments throughout each day of the trip. Our trip leader will also brief the teachers each day with full information about the plans, such locations, activities and supervision needed.
